Joey Calderazzo had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. While no new Joey Calderazzo album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1991 tour in South America. Joey Calderazzo’s debut, ‘In the Door’, does not fit easily into one genre. If I may, I suggest “Chubby’s Lament”. That one song is amazing!
Some of the arrangements found on In the Door are surprisingly edgy. Dome’s Mode is a great opener for In the Door. Loud-Zee stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Missed is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Joey Calderazzo. Spring Is Here very upbeat. In the Door is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit.
