This is the first studio album from John Campbell since bad diagnosis in 1991. On the U.S. charts, superstar John Campbell’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that John Campbell has. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Angel Of Sorrow is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. I hope to keep hearing John Campbell works for a long time to come. John Campbell is one of artists that allow his songs like Couldn T Do Nothin to stand on their own and be heard. When listening to Tiny Coffin, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. I can’t stop humming along World Of Trouble. Voodoo Edge is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything John Campbell released so far. This track is a great song that still never gets old. One listen to the sheer beauty of Take Me Down was all I needed. One Believer is a exquisite, simple song by John Campbell at the top of his game.
