Although I’m Bad Like Jesse James is very melodic it is far from sad. Don’t judge Same Old Blues Again on the first listening. It’s such an underrated song. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Boogie At Russian Hill is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Hittin’ The Bottle Again have really caught my ear and imagination. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. In Thought I Heard full palet of sound is used by John Lee Hooker to accentuate the presentation. I Ain’t Gonna Suffer No More is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
