Since John McLaughlin last CD (Electric Dreams) on Capitol Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. This nine-song debut EP shows the promise that John McLaughlin has. Electric Dreams carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Electric Dreams touched my soul like nothing else.
Blew our minds when we first heard Miles Davis. I now have Electric Dreams, Electric Sighs as one of my personal favorites. Desire And The Comforter is one of these floating songs. From the moment you listen to Love And Understanding you’re hooked. After about the third Singing Earth listen through, I began to believe this song is John McLaughlin’s essence. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with The Dark Prince. Best song on the album, love it.
