Keep Me In Mind is the funkiest number on the album. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Within the first few notes of Chariots it’s perfectly clear that John Scofield is living this song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Mr. Coleman To You is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Although Eisenhower is very melodic it is far from sad. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Meant To Be is my favorite song on Meant to Be. Some Nerve is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Lost In Space is perfect. French Flics is perfect work of John Scofield.
