Since John Zorn last CD (Spy Vs. Spy) on Savoy Records back in 1989, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album has some very good songs like WRU and Chronology. Spy Vs. Spy carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Another great offering from John Zorn.
Strong, powerful vocals of John Zorn in Chronology are very impressive. All of songs on Spy Vs. Spy and have something to say letting alone Word For Bird. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I like the agression and power of The Disguise. Best song on the album, love it. Rejoicing - To me, this is the best song on the Spy Vs. Spy. Blues Connotation - another great track from the Spy Vs. Spy album. John Zorn emotions are reflected through C&D. Chippie is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. The first time I listened to Peace Warriors I was struck by its exquisite sound. Ecars rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. One listen to the sheer beauty of Broadway Blues was all I needed. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Spy Vs. Spy. Zig Zag is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Mob Job the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
