This is the first studio album from Jorge REYES since bad diagnosis in 1986. Comala carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This disc has all of the essential Jorge REYES classics. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Comala.
Adios Mi Acompanamiento is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Hekura is one of my favorite songs by Jorge REYES. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. La Diosa De Las Aguilas is probably one of Jorge REYES’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Music and lyrics of Al Anima Sola creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. El Arrullo De La Mujer Dia, Mujer Luz - To me, this is the best song on the Comala.
