Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Jose Feliciano’s new album to that on ‘A Tribute to the Beatles’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Self-described as Easy Listening with lots of words, Jose Feliciano comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. A Tribute to the Beatles isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is my first Jose Feliciano Album and i must say i am blown away.
This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on A Tribute to the Beatles. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Norwegian Wood because the melody in the chorus is so good. Blackbird can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Jose Feliciano is all about. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. She Came In Through The Bathroom Window - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Song Here There And Everywhere is actually a funny song. Help is a excellent song and it grows on you. She’s A Woman is pretty funky and mellow. Jose Feliciano rocks harder than ever with Let It Be. I have all of Jose Feliciano’s tracks and Lady Madonna is probably the most his introspective effort. Opening track In My Life shows the best of Jose Feliciano. Blew our minds when we first heard Day Tripper. Day In The Life - A catchy, upbeat tune. Jose Feliciano has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
