After seeing Exercise One, I had to have a good Joy Division cd. It’s natural for Joy Division to take a stab at ‘Exercise One’ considering her long-professed love for Ondskapt. It has been six years Joy Division’ last studio CD, “The Peel Sessions” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Exciting stuff.
This track is just fantastic from start to finish. She’s Lost Control make listening to Joy Division like being in some sort of time warp. You have to get essence of the Transmission’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Love Will Tear Us Apart can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Joy Division is all about. The sound of 24 Hours is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Colony is probably the most interesting track on The Peel Sessions. Sound Of Music sets the tone for the entire album.
