I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Strawberry Moon’ really is amazing. After seeing Strawberry Moon, I had to have a good Jr. Grover Washington cd. This is the first studio album from Jr. Grover Washington since bad diagnosis in 1990. This is my first Jr. Grover Washington Album and i must say i am blown away.
The Look Of Love is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Jr. Grover Washington. Caught A Touch Of Your Love which is my favorite is a truly Jr. Grover Washington sounding song. Simple and heartfelt closing track Maddie’s Blues closes Strawberry Moon on a high note. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Strawberry Moon. Music of Monte Carlo Nights is gentle, never overbearing. Once Keep In Touch gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Summer Nights have really caught my ear and imagination.
