Galaxies carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It’s natural for Kevin Braheny to take a stab at ‘Ancient Stars’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. There were many famous songs of Kevin Braheny available. This album is a scorcher!
From the moment you listen to Down To Earth you’re hooked. Galactic Sky is almost impossible to review. Listening to Galaxies Main Theme you can hear that Kevin Braheny has still amazing chemistry with band members. This song is dynamic and dramatic. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Intergalactic Space is another favourite of mine. Lookback Time is one of the best records ever. This is one hell of a track. Shoutern Cross is the more seemingly obscure song on Galaxies that bear up best to repeated listening. Starflight 2 is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Starflight 3 can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Kevin Braheny is all about. Starflight 4 is the funkiest number on the album. Starflight is probably the most interesting track on Galaxies. The Pleiades - This one is lively and fun. This song stands out greatly from the others.
