‘Forever’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. John Digester has compared writing for Kool and the Gang’s new album to that on ‘Forever’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Kool and the Gang energies, virtually a rebirth. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
What sets T.B.M.C. apart is Kool and the Gang’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Stone Love is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Holiday gives taste of what makes Kool and the Gang special as a musician. Forever is the most memorable and perfect. Peacemaker is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Broadway is really the reason why I recommend buying Forever. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. God’s Country - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem.
