It has been four years Kool and the Gang’ last studio CD, “In the Heart” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Now signed to Kool and the Gang’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “In the Heart” leads Kool and the Gang’s back-to-school campaign. In the Heart is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This album is awesome.
It’s such an underrated song. Tonight is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Opening track Rollin’ shows the best of Kool and the Gang. Musically Place for Us is superior to other tracks in In the Heart. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Kool and the Gang allows each song to breathe and flourish. This song may be the most meaningful. I think September Love is the best song Kool and the Gang has ever done.
