It’s natural for Kool Moe Dee to take a stab at ‘1.They Want Money’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Kool Moe Dee has. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Kool Moe Dee energies, virtually a rebirth. 1.They Want Money and 2.The Avenue is really good.
2.The Avenue is perfect and different song. Still going through Knowledge Is King and coming to appreciate 3.I Go To Work more and more with every listen. After few listenings I started to like 4.All Night Long more and more. 5.Knowledge Is King is a great opener for Knowledge Is King. In 6.I’m Hittin’ Hard it becomes nowhere more obvious that Kool Moe Dee has yet to define own style. 7.Get The Picture is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Opening track 8.I’m Blowin’ Up shows the best of Kool Moe Dee. Kool Moe Dee must have run out of lyrics on the next track 9.The Don. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
