Blues For The Red Sun carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is the first studio album from Kyuss since bad diagnosis in 1992. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Green Machine (3:39) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! The sound of Molten Universe is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. A great put together song. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Thong Song from the beginning to the end. First time I heard Apothecaries’ Weight was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Blew our minds when we first heard Caterpillar March. Such hits like Freedom Run will leave you hooked. It took me a little time but I ended up loving 800. Only one song from Blues For The Red Sun named Writhe really got me. Capsized marked the continuation of Kyuss in style evolution. Allen’s Wrench is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Voice of Kyuss in Mondo Generator is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
