When I listen to Chicken Scratch in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Feel Like Jumping is amazing work of Lee Scratch Perry. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Chicken Scratch. By Saint Peter is outstanding work of Lee Scratch Perry. Tackoo has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Roast Duck presents the cool mix of instruments on Chicken Scratch. Man to Man which is my favorite is a truly Lee Scratch Perry sounding song. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Gruma because the melody in the chorus is so good. Jane Ann & the Pumpkin one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. In Just Keep It Up you won’t find any flashy solos. Puss in Bag - My least favorite song on this album.
