It has been seven years Lee Scratch Perry’ last studio CD, “Mystic Warrior and Mystic Warrior Dub” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I am not a real Reggae music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mystic Warrior and Mystic Warrior Dub’ really is amazing. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Lee Scratch Perry. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Pirates (Black Plastic)
Pirates (Black Plastic) - My least favorite song on this album. Kung Fu Fighting had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Lee Scratch Perry is hitting on all cylinders in 25 Years Ago. Mystic Warrior is one of the more up-tempo songs on Mystic Warrior and Mystic Warrior Dub. Lee Scratch Perry has astounded me with this amazing track. Good Lucky Perry - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Jazzy Lady (4:20) a good melody. I now have Dub Them Crazy as one of my personal favorites. Broken Antennae one of the best in my collection. I like to sing along with Black Art, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Overall a nice softer song. There is gorgeous mix of music in Mystic Warrior Dub. Dub Reggae Soca - To me, this is the best song on the Mystic Warrior and Mystic Warrior Dub. Dub It Scratchy Dub It is probably one of Lee Scratch Perry’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Jazzy Dub has a fun tempo.
