Scratch Attack is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the first studio album from Lee Scratch Perry since bad diagnosis in 1988. There were many famous songs of Lee Scratch Perry available. Scratch Attack is not something you should pass up.
Who You Gonna Run To is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Tighten Up - My least favorite song on this album. Put A Serious Joke into car stereo for your highway driving Little Flute Chant to me is the best you can get from Lee Scratch Perry. When Jah Come is Lee Scratch Perry’s best work in years. Stratch Walking is one of my favorite songs by Lee Scratch Perry. Come Along as a highlight of Scratch Attack contains a ton of perfect melodies. Bush Weed Corn Trash is a bit different from Lee Scratch Perry stereotypical stuff. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Blackboard Jungle Dub (Ver. 1) gets you up and jumping. Rubba, Rubba Words is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Cloak A Dagger (Ver. 3) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Such hits like Dub From Africa will leave you hooked. Dreamland Dub is almost impossible to review. Pop Goes The Dread Dub great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Fever Grass Dub rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Don’t judge Sin Semilla Kaya Dub on the first listening. Moving Forward is one of these floating songs. Blackboard Jungle Dub (Ver. 2) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Lee Scratch Perry offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Setta Iration Dub is nothing but pure genius.
