On the Sweden charts, superstar Leonard Cohen’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Greatest Hits’ really is amazing. There were many famous songs of Leonard Cohen available. I wish that “Greatest Hits” album was instrumental.
Musically Sisters Of Mercy is superior to other tracks in Greatest Hits. A great put together song. Opening track Bird On The Wire shows the best of Leonard Cohen. After about the third Lady Midnight listen through, I began to believe this song is Leonard Cohen’s essence. The Partisan is a song to enjoy for years to come. This track is full of harmonies and gets Greatest Hits off to a relaxing start. A unique and uplifting song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Who By Fire - A strong beat. Take This Longing is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
