LL Cool J’s debut, ‘Radio’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since LL Cool J last CD (Radio) on Blue Note Records back in 1985, I have felt a massive void in my life. This disc has all of the essential LL Cool J classics. IT makes me wanna dance!
You’ll Rock is simply amazing. That’s A Lie presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Radio. I Need A Beat is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Only one song from Radio named Rock The Bells really got me. This song is dynamic and dramatic. I Can Give You More (5:10) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of LL Cool J. You Can’t Dance is possibly the best song LL Cool J has come up. Don’t judge I Can’t Live Without My Radio on the first listening.
