It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Logic System energies, virtually a rebirth. Since completing 1988’s ‘Rydeen’, Logic System fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. To Gen Kyo carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. IF you love Logic System, ‘To Gen Kyo’ Mp3’s is the best!
Asian Woman is beautiful, yet underrated track. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Let’s Take A Coffee (Coffee Rumba) marked the continuation of Logic System in style evolution. Shanghai-Tsuki-Yo (Shanghai Night Of The Moon) - Logic System first major hit. Mythological Falls is the more seemingly obscure song on To Gen Kyo that bear up best to repeated listening. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I now have La Femme Chinoise as one of my personal favorites. Nice and different song. I have all of Logic System’s tracks and Shin-Nihon-Kikou (New Travels In Japan) is probably the most his introspective effort. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing.
