This -song debut EP shows the promise that London Baroque has. There were many famous songs of London Baroque available. Since completing 1990’s ‘3 parts on a ground in D major’, London Baroque fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is my first London Baroque Album and i must say i am blown away.
In Sonata no.VI in G minor full palet of sound is used by London Baroque to accentuate the presentation. So much energy, so exciting a sound. All of songs on Chamber music and have something to say letting alone Chacony a 4 in G minor. Album opener Pavan a 3 in B flat major is a bright, upbeat ditty. This is probably my favorite song on the album. London Baroque is one of artists that allow his songs like Pavan a 3 in A minor to stand on their own and be heard. Pavan a 3 in A major is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Overture a 4 in D minor - arguably the best track on Chamber music album. In Overture a 4 in G major the music gets its power. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Overture a 5 in G minor. Sonata no.VII in E minor Adagio is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Sonata no.VII in E minor Canzona marked the continuation of London Baroque in style evolution. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Sonata no.VII in E minor Vivace stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Sonata no.XII in D major Adagio rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. No London Baroque song has come close to capturing my attention as Sonata no.XII in D major Canzona did. Sonata no.XII in D major Poco largo is a exquisite, simple song by London Baroque at the top of his game. Sonata no.XII in D major Grave is outstanding work of London Baroque. Sonata no.XII in D major Presto actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on London Baroque’s face. Sonata no.XII in D major Allegro is nothing but pure genius. Suite a 4 in G major Overture - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Suite a 4 in G major Sarabande is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track London Baroque ever produced. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Suite a 4 in G major Bourree. Suite a 4 in G major Minuet - I like this one. The opening track Suite a 4 in G major Jig is very much like you would expect from other albums.
