Since Loquillo y Los Trogloditas last CD (La Mafia Del Baile) on EMI Records back in 1985, I have felt a massive void in my life. There were many famous songs of Loquillo y Los Trogloditas available. There is no doubt that Loquillo y Los Trogloditas has talent. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Carne para Linda pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Chanel, Cocaina y Don Perin is so unique, as each one of the songs is. The opening track Rock suave is very much like you would expect from other albums. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. I think Faraon is the best song Loquillo y Los Trogloditas has ever done. Music in Leyenda is marvelous as in all tracks of La Mafia Del Baile. This track is clearly meant to showcase Loquillo y Los Trogloditas’s vocal abilities. Himno de prostitutas is the funkiest number on the album. I love the melodic melody of Fin de semana and to this day it makes me feel good. El pas te necesita is astounding and different song. Supersonica one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Ah vienen los Jets is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Las sombras del autocine is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Codigo de Honor is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
