For older fans Return of the Funky Man will put a massive smile accross your face. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Lord Finesse has. This is my first Lord Finesse Album and i must say i am blown away.
Return Of The Funky Man is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. First time I heard I Like My Girls With A Boom was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Yes You May (4:58) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Hey Look At Shorty is one of the best records ever. Praise The Lord is astounding. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Show ‘Em How We Do Things is really the reason why I recommend buying Return of the Funky Man. Isn’t He Something gives taste of what makes Lord Finesse special as a musician. Fat For The 90’s is perfect. It’s such an underrated song. I now have Funky On The Fast Tip as one of my personal favorites. That’s How Smooth I Am is one of these floating songs. Party Over There is the albums biggest surprise. I came to like Fuck ‘em. Lord Finesse emotions are reflected through Kicking Flavor With My Man.
