It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Los Bukis energies, virtually a rebirth. sixteen years ago, Los Bukis briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Y Ahora Te Vas”. On Si Me Recuerdas album, Los Bukis have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I wish that “Si Me Recuerdas” album was instrumental.
Voice and instruments in Y Ahora Te Vas complement each other. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Los Bukis allows each song to breathe and flourish. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Voice of Los Bukis in Que Mala is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Como Dejar de Amarte defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Si Vieras Cuanto one of the best in my collection. Los Bukis is hitting on all cylinders in Adios Querida Esposa. Felicito - For me, this is the best of the album.
