This album has some very good songs like Thanks A Lot and It’s A Good Day. On It’s a Good Day album, Lowell Fulson have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lowell Fulson’s debut, ‘It’s a Good Day’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album is in perfect progression from Lowell Fulson!
It’s A Good Day is probably the highlight of the album. The song Ten More Shows ending is my favorite… so catchy! Your Love For Me Is Gone pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. I’m Tough is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after It’s a Good Day have ended. Keep That Smile gets you up and jumping. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on It’s a Good Day. Blues And My Guitar - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. One More Blues is almost impossible to review. Push On makes a person feel astounding.
It’s a Good Day CD
