It’s natural for Luka Bloom to take a stab at ‘Mary Watches Everything’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. Self-described as Instrumental with lots of words, Luka Bloom comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Since Luka Bloom last CD (The Acoustic Motorbike) on EMI Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. Unappreciated gift to Instrumental
This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. After few listenings I started to like I Believe In You more and more. I Need Love is a bit different from Luka Bloom stereotypical stuff. I was truly moved when I heard Exploring The Blue. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Acoustic Motorbike off to a relaxing start. Luka Bloom sings his heart out in The Acoustic Motorbike. I can’t stop humming along Can’t Help Falling In Love. Bones is beautiful, yet underrated track. Bridge Of Sorrow is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Listen To The Hoofbeat catches attention immediately, Be Well is probably the most interesting track on The Acoustic Motorbike.
