This is the first studio album from Macka B since bad diagnosis in 1990. There is so much to love about Macka B, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Macka B was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Macka B and Natural Suntan together. This is one of Macka B best albums
Macka B sings his heart out in Don’t beat her. Don’t judge me stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Flushit makes a person feel exquisite. Strong, powerful vocals of Macka B in Get conscious are very impressive. I now have Get rid of Maggie as one of my personal favorites. Lyrics of Natural suntan are precise and evocative. After about the third Proud of Mandela listen through, I began to believe this song is Macka B’s essence.
