‘Erotica’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Madonna’s album Erotica falls to No. 2 with 128,000, a sales slide of 62%. Since completing 1992’s ‘Erotica’, Madonna fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Erotica is the best essence of Madonna.
Fever is a exquisite song and it grows on you. Don’t judge Bye Bye Baby on the first listening. Deeper and Deeper good vocals. Blew our minds when we first heard Where Life Begins. Madonna is one of artists that allow his songs like Bad Girl to stand on their own and be heard. In Waiting the music gets its power. Some of the arrangements found on Erotica are surprisingly edgy. Once Words gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Some call Rain from Erotica as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. The opening track Why’s It So Hard is very much like you would expect from other albums. In This Life - arguably the best track on Erotica album. Voice of Madonna in Secret Garden is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
