Malevolent Creation’s debut, ‘The Ten Commandments’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since completing 1991’s ‘Memorial Arrangements’, Malevolent Creation fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Self-described as Metal: Death,Black with lots of words, Malevolent Creation comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Great Metal: Death,Black right here!
Premature Burial is possibly the best song Malevolent Creation has come up. Remnants Of Withered Decay is a medium tempo tune. I loved Multiple Stab Wounds the first time I heard it. Excellent vocals and musical performances. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Malevolent Creation. In Sacrificial Annihilation it becomes nowhere more obvious that Malevolent Creation has yet to define own style. You have to get essence of the Decadence Within’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. I like to sing along with Injected Sufferance, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion.
