It’s natural for Manowar to take a stab at ‘Battle Hymn’ considering her long-professed love for Armin Van Buuren. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Manowar’s new album to that on ‘Ch 82 (Bootleg)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This album has some very good songs like Battle Hymn and The Oath. Such great and happy songs.
Manowar rocks harder than ever with The Oath. Within the first few notes of Thor it’s perfectly clear that Manowar is living this song. Blood Of My Enemies is one of these floating songs. Blew our minds when we first heard All Men Play On. Sign Of The Hammer (4:37) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. There is gorgeous mix of music in Bass Sole. Get Ch 82 (Bootleg) and turn on Secret Of Steel if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Metal Daze is perfect and different song. A great put together song.
