After debuting at No. 1 last week, Marduk’s album Dark Endless falls to No. 2 with 821,000, a sales slide of 83%. Marduk was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Marduk and Dark Endless together. Self-described as Metal: Death,Black with lots of words, Marduk comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is my first Marduk Album and i must say i am blown away.
The Sun Turns Black At Night is perfect. Within The Abyss is a strong cut, one of many. From the moment you listen to The Funeral Seems To Be Endless you’re hooked. Departure From The Mortals is the funkiest number on the album. The sound in The Black… is really warm and Marduk’s signature voice is still very much present. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
