Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Mark Knopfler on ‘Poor Boy Blues’. Neck and Neck carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There is no doubt that Mark Knopfler has talent. This is what good Instrumental should be.
Sweet Dreams is another favourite of mine. There’ll Be Some Changes Made makes a person feel marvelous. Blew our minds when we first heard Just One Time. As always, Mark Knopfler’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Mark Knopfler allows each song to breathe and flourish. I believe Tears is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This song stands out greatly from the others. This is one hell of a track.
