I am not a real R&B: Soul music type of person, but i have to admit ‘What’s the 411?’ really is amazing. While no new Mary J. Blige album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1992 tour in Europe. This is the first studio album from Mary J. Blige since bad diagnosis in 1992. Such great and happy songs.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Reminisce because the melody in the chorus is so good. This is one hell of a track. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Intro Talk is a striking and quite long song. Opening track Sweet Thing shows the best of Mary J. Blige. Love No Limit very upbeat. I Don’t Want To Do Anything is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. I think Slow Down is the best song Mary J. Blige has ever done. I like the agression and power of My Love. Changes I’ve Been Going Through - A catchy, upbeat tune. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
