On Fly with the Wind album, McCoy Tyner have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Fly With The Wind and Salvadore De Samba. It’s natural for McCoy Tyner to take a stab at ‘Fly With The Wind’ considering her long-professed love for Universal Soul. Smart music for smart people.
In Salvadore De Samba the music gets its power. Excellent vocals and musical performances. You Stepped Out Of A Dream - A nice song. Rolem had me crying as I was able to relate so well.
