Countdown to Extinction carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Megadeth energies, virtually a rebirth. There is no doubt that Megadeth has talent. Enjoy the show.
Symphony Of Destruction has a fun tempo. When I listen to Architecture Of Aggression in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Foreclosure Of A Dream is a bit different from Megadeth stereotypical stuff. Sweating Bullets very upbeat. First time I heard This Was My Life was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Countdown To Extinction is a good listen every once in a while. The sound in High Speed Dirt is really warm and Megadeth’s signature voice is still very much present. Psychotron - My least favorite song on this album. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Ashes In Your Mouth is a excellent, simple song by Megadeth at the top of his game. Excellent vocals and musical performances. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Go To Hell because the melody in the chorus is so good.
