I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments’ really is amazing. There is no doubt that Melvins has talent. It’s natural for Melvins to take a stab at ‘Vile’ considering her long-professed love for Godsplague. Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments constantly brilliant.
The song feels complete. It took me a little time but I ended up loving At A Crawl. Let God Be Your Gardner is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments. Creepy Smell is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. The song Kool Legged ending is my favorite… so catchy! Green Honey was the first single release from the album Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments. Agonizer - I like this one. Raise A Paw (1:11) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This track is a great song that still never gets old. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Melvins sings Revulsion/ We Reach in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Cranky Messiah is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Claude - Okay, I just talked about depth. Melvins allows each song to breathe and flourish. Candy-O is a excellent sing-along. Eye Flys sets the tone for the entire album. First time I heard Echo Head/ Don’t Piece Me was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Heater Moves And Eyes - I just love it. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Steve Instant Newman because the melody in the chorus is so good. Music in Influence Of Atmosphere is perfect as in all tracks of Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments. Melvins rocks harder than ever with Exact Paperbacks. Happy Grey Or Black is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Leeech still maintains something of a specific flourish. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments is Glow God. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. In Heaviness Of The Load Melvins is at his best. Melvins emotions are reflected through Flex With You. Bitten Into Sympathy is the more seemingly obscure song on Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments that bear up best to repeated listening. Gluey Porch Treatments gives good insight into the truths. Clipping Roses is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. As Was It / Over From Under The Excrement is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
