This is one of the best Cd’s Michael Garrison has dropped to date. On Prisms album, Michael Garrison have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Michael Garrison has. IT makes me wanna dance!
Interphase very upbeat. Tranquility is the first taste of the new album. If you are a Michael Garrison fan, you will love Runaway. Michael Garrison must have run out of lyrics on the next track Motion Fascination. The opening track Sequencing Blue is very much like you would expect from other albums. Melt Down is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Pre-Dawn Flight as a highlight of Prisms contains a ton of gorgeous melodies. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Still going through Prisms and coming to appreciate Lasers more and more with every listen.
