Lead single “Sentinel” and “Dark Star” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Tubular Bells II is an amazing album, racked with beauty.I am not a real Rock: Electronic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Tubular Bells II’ really is amazing. Great Rock: Electronic right here!
Dark Star is probably the highlight of the album. Clear Light is pretty funky and mellow. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Red Dawn is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Tubular Bells II. Weightless is a great opener for Tubular Bells II. Great Plain is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. After about the third Sunset Door listen through, I began to believe this song is Mike Oldfield’s essence. In Tattoo Mike Oldfield spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I like the agression and power of Altered State. Song Maya Gold is actually a funny song. Moonshine is the albums biggest surprise.
