Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Mike Stern comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Upside Downside is the best essence of Mike Stern.
Little Shoes - My least favorite song on this album. Goodbye Again is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Mood Swings - arguably the best track on Upside Downside album. I can’t stop playing After You. Scuffle is simply cool. In Mr. Berwell Mike Stern spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Mike Stern has astounded me with this amazing track. bonus is the first taste of the new album.
