Miroslav Vitous and Roy Haynes’s debut, ‘Trio Music (Live in Europe)’, does not fit easily into one genre. After seeing Summer Night/Night and Day, I had to have a good Miroslav Vitous and Roy Haynes cd. Now signed to Miroslav Vitous and Roy Haynes’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Trio Music (Live in Europe)” leads Miroslav Vitous and Roy Haynes’s back-to-school campaign. Another great offering from Miroslav Vitous and Roy Haynes.
Prelude No. 2/Mock Up is one of the best records ever. Transformation is almost impossible to review. This track is clearly meant to showcase Miroslav Vitous and Roy Haynes’s vocal abilities. Mirovisions is probably one of Miroslav Vitous and Roy Haynes’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Loop (5:40) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I Hear a Rhapsody is a exquisite song and it grows on you.
