Modern Talking was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Modern Talking and In The Garden Of Venus together. Lead single “In 100 Years” and “Don’t Let It Get You Down” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is one of the best Cd’s Modern Talking has dropped to date. To me Modern Talking is the best band ever.
Don’t Let It Get You Down - I just love it. Who Will Save The World rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Voice and instruments in A Telegram To Your Heart complement each other. Modern Talking allows each song to breathe and flourish. Don’t Lose My Number has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. The first time I listened to Slow Motion I was struck by its astounding sound. Locomotion Tango is the albums biggest surprise. Good Girls Go To Heaven - Bad is one of my favorite songs by Modern Talking. A fantastic track full of wonder.
