This disc has all of the essential Nawang Khechog classics. This is one of the best Cd’s Nawang Khechog has dropped to date. Nawang Khechog’s debut, ‘Rhytms of Peace’, does not fit easily into one genre. Great Easy Listening right here!
I love the melodic melody of The Dalai Lama of Tibet and to this day it makes me feel good. Leading the Path of Non-Violence is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. The sound in Loving Even One’s Enemy is really warm and Nawang Khechog’s signature voice is still very much present. Simple and heartfelt closing track Being Kind to All closes Rhytms of Peace on a high note. Caring for Our Mother Nature is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. As always, Nawang Khechog’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Tibet for Peace Sanctuary is a bit different from Nawang Khechog stereotypical stuff. Tienanmen Square (for Chinese Warriors) presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Rhytms of Peace. The Human Heart is for Kindness to me is the best you can get from Nawang Khechog.
