It has been nine years New Edition’ last studio CD, “All for Love” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. New Edition was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from New Edition and All for Love together. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for New Edition’s new album to that on ‘All for Love’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. If you love New Edition as much as I do, then New Edition All for Love is the CD for you!
A Little Bit Of Love (Is All It Takes) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Sweet Thing (4:16) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. When listening to Let’s Be Friends, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Tonight’s You Night is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. The sound of Whispers In Bed is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Who Do You Trust still maintains something of a specific flourish. After you’ve listened to School, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. All For Love stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
