Nirvana had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Marquee Club, New York isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is the first studio album from Nirvana since bad diagnosis in 1991. Marquee Club, New York constantly brilliant.
Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam sets the tone for the entire album. The song Aneurysm ending is my favorite… so catchy! Drain You gives taste of what makes Nirvana special as a musician. Smells Like Teen Spirit is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. This song stands out greatly from the others. I loved Floyd The Barber the first time I heard it. Sliver is a amazing sing-along. Breed is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. I love the melodic melody of About A Girl and to this day it makes me feel good. Rape Me - a classic song. Blew - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Been A Son is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Negative Creep is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Marquee Club, New York. There is marvelous mix of music in Endless, Nameless. This track is just fantastic from start to finish.
