This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by NoMeansNo. There is no doubt that NoMeansNo has talent. NoMeansNo’s debut, ‘Sex Mad / You Kill Me’, does not fit easily into one genre. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Album opener Obsessed is a bright, upbeat ditty. No Fgnuikc - I like this one. Love Thang is the more seemingly obscure song on Sex Mad / You Kill Me that bear up best to repeated listening. Lyrics of Dead Bob are precise and evocative. Music in Self Pity is exquisite as in all tracks of Sex Mad / You Kill Me. Long Days is pretty funky and mellow. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Sex Mad / You Kill Me. Revenge is a song to enjoy for years to come. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Sex Mad / You Kill Me is No Fkuicgn. Hunt The She Beast is a fine track on any terms. Body Bag is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Stop It rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Some Bodies is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track NoMeansNo ever produced. Manic Depression stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Sex Mad / You Kill Me couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Paradise.
