ORCHESTRA BAOBAB was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from ORCHESTRA BAOBAB and On Verra Ca together. For older fans On Verra Ca will put a massive smile accross your face. Self-described as Ethnic with lots of words, ORCHESTRA BAOBAB comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. On Verra Ca is not something you should pass up.
ON VERRA CA is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. TANTE MARIE sets the tone for the entire album. Although AFRICA is very melodic it is far from sad. ORCHESTRA BAOBAB must have run out of lyrics on the next track EL FUEGO. I like the idea behind SIBAM. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. It took me a little time but I ended up loving THIOISANNE. After few listenings I started to like MI SON more and more. DIGON GAMA is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
