This disc has all of the essential Patrick O’hearn classics. White Sands is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Since Patrick O’hearn last CD (White Sands) on EMI Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. Check it every song is worth the money for the White Sands CD!
Sacred Heart have really caught my ear and imagination. Patrick O’hearn has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Blew our minds when we first heard The Heart That You Own (Dwight…). In Do You Like Helicopters , Bobb you won’t find any flashy solos. Observed In The Hotel is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Dinner With Ray and Lane is one of these floating songs. After you’ve listened to Trust Me, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. The Rodeo - My least favorite song on this album. All of songs on White Sands and have something to say letting alone Shower Scene. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is It Was A Judgement Call because the melody in the chorus is so good. Ray Sets Up The Meeting is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Album opener Farewell To Lennox is a bright, upbeat ditty. Are You In Love With Me? / Mee is nothing but pure genius. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Quicksand and Lies (Little Fea…).
