The Jazzmasters isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. The Jazzmasters carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. On The Jazzmasters album, Paul Hardcastle have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Blue Days is a strong cut, one of many. Paul Hardcastle emotions are reflected through Northern Lights. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Really Miss Your Love. Still going through The Jazzmasters and coming to appreciate Heaven more and more with every listen. Lost Summer is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Without Love is pretty funky and mellow. Body Heat is a astounding song and it grows on you. Strollin’ - another great track from the The Jazzmasters album. Hearts Of Space is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Blowin’ Free is the song that really did it for me. See You In July - This is a very lively song.
