Now signed to Peter Kater’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Homage” leads Peter Kater’s back-to-school campaign. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Peter Kater’s new album to that on ‘Homage’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since Peter Kater last CD (Homage) on ForeFront Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. The March Of The Magic Bunny and Shaman’s Call is really good.
Shaman’s Call is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Homage defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. The Gathering is Peter Kater’s best work in years. Mama Sing is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Gold Lake is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Only one song from Homage named Dusk really got me. Sky Quake is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Homage have ended. River Medicine is a song to enjoy for years to come. Don’t judge The Return Of The Magic Bunny on the first listening.
